RTP Company, global compounder of taylor made engineering thermoplastics, bough in 2009 Zeotherm® TPV product line from Zeon Chemicals.
Zeotherm® TPV products (now encompassed in the NYLABOND® product family), are complex and diverse formulations that are available in hardnesses ranging from 70A to 40D. The material offers 150°C continuous use performance, while withstanding long-term exposure to engine oils and lubricating greases, a level that cannot be achieved with other TPEs or copolyesters. In addition, Zeotherm® TPV adheres well to polyamide substrates in overmoulding applications.
TPE for continuous use at high temperatures: up to 150ºC
It is an ideal material for applications requiring high performance in potentially harsh environments, such as under-hood automotive parts, high performance industrial applications and for silicone replacement.
